For all history lovers and all visitors of Rimini, the Arco di Augusto, or the Arch of Augustus, is a must-see place. It is the oldest arch existing during Roman times, as it was built in 27 BC. At the time the Arch was in the entrance of the city erected to honor Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus. Today, it’s one of the iconic monuments of Rimini located in the old town.
